The government of Ghana is the largest employer in the country; employing a larger number of people in the country. This is one other way the government can improve the lives of the citizens through its relationship with all of the employees. Government’s contribution to improving individual lives and giving them economic empowerment is through the jobs it provides for its people. This relationship must be well protected to ensure that the people’s belief in government is not affected. Employees of the government must be protected against issues of job security as well as negative effects of changes in government machinery, among many others.
